It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Carol M. Mamay of Hartwell, Georgia, who passed away on February 12, 2025, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Carol may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the echoes of her kindness, the warmth of her embrace, and the light of her enduring love.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl Martz and Ethel Clepper Martz; and her sons, Paul Mamay and Mark Mamay. She is survived by: her husband Dan Mamay; her son Carl Mamay (Karisse) of Greensboro, GA; her brother Richard Martz of Buford, GA; and her grandchildren, Kaitlyn Mamay and Kendall Mamay.
A memorial service will be held on Sunday, February 23rd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Hartwell First Methodist Church (200 E Howell St, Hartwell, GA 30643). A reception will be held on Sunday, February 23rd 2025 at 2:45 PM at the same location.
