He is survived by: his parents, Talmadge Thornton and Louvenia Martin Thornton; his wife Kathie Thornton; his children, Darius Thornton, Ryan Thornton, Tyson Thornton and Mya Thornton; his siblings, Patricia McIntosh (Floyd), Cozell Harper, Michael Thornton (Annette), Charles Thornton and James Thornton (Angela); and his grandchildren, Chloe Thornton, Arianna Thornton, Tyson Thornton, Ryleigh Thornton, Kyler Thornton and Ariah Thornton.
