With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Bruce Harris (Hartwell, Georgia), born in Anderson, South Carolina, who passed away on August 27, 2018 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his son Max P. Harris; and his siblings, Jessie L. Harris, Jean, Frances and Elizabeth.
He is survived by: his wife Jo Anderson Harris; his children, Kelly H. Viner of Inman, Andy Dill of Anderson and Frankie Sherman of Laurens; and his sisters, Lucille Hampton of Columbia, Alice Davis and Maudelle Daniels. He is also survived by six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Hartwell First United Methodist Church, 200 E. Howell Street, Hartwell GA 30643.
