He was predeceased by: his parents, James Robert Phillips and Mary Fowler Denny; and his sister Annette Phillips Allen of Danielsville. He is survived by: his children, Robert Lester Phillips (Shala) of Lavonia, Rodney Joe Phillips (Amy) of Lavonia and Renee Phillips Farmer (Keith) of Lavonia; his sister Sandra Phillips Ray of Hartwell; and his grandchildren, Taylor McAvoy, Olivia Phillips, Erica King-Phillips, Mitch Farmer, Meghann Farmer and Scott Moore.
