He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Pate and Ada Dukes Pate Jeffries; his wife Donna Howe Pate; his stepfather Plaz Jeffries; his children, Kathee Jones and Lonn Pate; and his siblings, Charles Pate and Carolyn Pate.
He is survived by: his son Elliott Pate (Jenny) of Carrollton, GA; his granddaughters, Olivia Pate and Katie McCulloch (Matt); and his stepgrandsons, Cole Tanner and Reed Tanner Jr. Mr.
Visitation was held on Saturday, October 5th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Hartwell First Methodist Church (200 E Howell St, Hartwell, GA 30643). A memorial service was held on Saturday, October 5th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
