He was predeceased by: his parents, Winfred Walker Bailey and Ruth Elizabeth Doker Bailey; his siblings, Tommy Bailey and Margaret Sue Bailey; and his great grandchild Cameron Vance Purcell.
He is survived by: the mother of his children Carla Wilson Davis of Hartwell; his son Jason Bailey of Hartwell; his stepdaughter Michelle Fields of Hartwell; his close friend Emily Hill; his sister Ruth Ann Harris of Hartwell; his nieces and nephews, Tommy, Jamie Bailey, Margaret and Melanie Harris; his grandchildren, Kayla Dowell, Kristen Mitchell and Cody Fields; and his pet Sam. He is also survived by seven great grandchildren.
