He was predeceased by: his parents, John Thomas Saylors Sr. and Mamie Lacie Phillips Saylors; and his siblings, Floyd Saylors, Guy Saylors, Thomas Saylors and Mary Sue Shivers.
He is survived by: his wife Nancy Faye Marett Saylors; his children, Tracie Poole (Tom) of Cornelia, GA, Beth Lail (Shoan) of Hendersonville, NC and Glen Saylors (Phoebe) of Jacksonville, FL; his sister Frances Bailey of Hartwell; and his grandchildren, Austin, Tanner Poole, Jansen, Shannon Lail, Aubrey and Riley Saylors.
