He was predeceased by: his parents, Edgar Benton McCurley and Marie Chastain McCurley; and his sister Dorothy. He is survived by: his wife Joyce Sanders McCurley; his children, April Todd (Michael) of Hartwell, Deborah McCurley of Lavonia and David McCurley of Hartwell; his sisters, Bonnie Hill (William) of Hartwell and Doris Skelton (Wayne) of Hartwell; his grandchildren, Austen Whitworth, Nicole Robinson and Adam Haworth; his great grandchildren, Caden, Colton, Carsen Robinson and Summer Haworth; and his close friends, Gary Mathis, Tommy Wilson and Larry Sanders.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Mt. Olivet Baptist Church, 2973 Mt. Olivet Road, Hartwell, GA 30643.
