He was predeceased by: his parents, Max Cantrell and Geneva Cobb Cantrell; and his sister Brenda Owens. He is survived by: his daughters, Jenny Whitfield of Hartwell and Mary Collins of Pampa, TX; his sister Barbara Ray of Spartanburg, S. C.; and his grandchildren, Marley Whitfield, Abigail Collins and Eleanor Collins.
