He was predeceased by: his parents, Hugh Brannon Underwood and Gladys Marie Harrell Underwood; and his brother John Clifford Underwood. He is survived by: his wife Patricia Irene Howell Underwood of Hartsfield; his sons, David Glynn Underwood, Jr. (Denise) of Locust Grove and Cecil Brannon Underwood (Paula) of Moultrie; his siblings, Ronald Hugh Underwood of Hartsfield and Jewel Kidder (Dan) of Hartsfield; his grandchildren, David Glynn "Trey" Underwood III (Stephanie) of Marietta, Loni Ann Underwood (Ryan Cochran) of Locust Grove, Dillon Anthony Underwood (Tiffany Little) of Valdosta and Ridge Brannon Underwood (Christine) of Decatur; and his great grandchildren, Knox Anthony Underwood, Ada Lucille Underwood and Maxine Jewel Cochran.
