She was predeceased by: her parents, Bennie Dalton Gay, Sr. and Nathalee Faircloth Gay; her husband Marion E. "Jack" Cole; her siblings, Dalton Gay, Gene Gay, Alene Smith, Marzee Gay and Virginia Gay; her siblings-in-law, C. J. Smith and Ruby Gay; her aunt Blanche Faircloth; and her niece Debbie Durham.
She is survived by: her brother Jack F. Gay of Hartsfield; and her nieces and nephews, Brad Smith (Jan) of Hartsfield, Mark Gay (Nancy) of Leesburg, David Durham of Moultrie, Donna Smith (Joe) of Panama City, FL, Lisa Holmes of Hartsfield and Molly Jacobs (Gary) of Hartsfield. She is also survived by several great nieces and nephews and great-great nieces and nephews.
