It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Barbara Hamilton Mims (Hartsfield, Georgia), born in Tifton, Georgia, who passed away on June 11, 2024, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Melvin Mims; her parents, William Hamilton (Sug) and Ola Mae James Hamilton; and her siblings, Larry Hamilton, Jean Hamilton, Bonnie Selph, Debbie Kent, Sandra Clark and Donna Hamilton.
She is survived by: her children, Vance Mims (Haley) and Tonya Bryan (Matt); her grandchildren, Rebekah, Jacob, John and Ally; and her sisters, Becky Craven (Carol), Carolyn Delaney (Donnie), Kristy Friar, Mary Hamm (Gary) and Linda May. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hartsfield Baptist Church.
