It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Alton Bryant of Hartsfield, Georgia, born in Mitchell, Georgia, who passed away on May 17, 2024, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Enos Cary and Prudy Barton Bryant; his siblings, Silas Bryant, Carley Bryant, Johnny Bryant, Donald Bryant, Verna Mae Roberts, Eloise Hurst and Dorothy Mae Hurst; and his sister-in-law Merian Willis Godwin.
He is survived by: his wife Delilah Willis Bryant; his son Michael Bryant (Angie); his grandchildren, Hunter Reed Bryant, Marlee Clare Bryant and Baylee Bryce Courtney; and his siblings-in-law, Gerald Willis (Rose), Theron Willis (Wynette), Gary Willis (Martha), Lily Mae Bryant and Clare Cauley.
