Grady Thompson Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Grady Thompson of Harrison, Georgia, born in Bartow, Georgia, who passed away on October 1, 2024 at the age of 90. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Grady Thompson to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Willie Isaac Thompson and Carrie Dee Robinson Thompson; and his wife Faye Chambers Thompson. He is survived by: his daughters, Lynne Walden of Rincon, Kayla Jackson (Roy) of Sandersville and Elaine Bussell (Tony) of Harrison; and his grandchildren, David Walden (Kristan), Kasey Arch (Sheldon), Justin Tanner (Sarah), Kristin Kennedy, Thomas Reynolds (Laura), Timothy Reynolds (Sara) and Tyler Reynolds (Payton). He is also survived by 12 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations be made in Mr. Thompson's memory to the Washington County Senior Center, 446 North Hospital Road, Sandersville, GA 31082 or to First Baptist Church of Sandersville, 316 Mathis Circle, Sandersville, GA 31082.
