She was predeceased by: her parents, Johnny B. Barnes and Clara Bryant Barnes; her husband George Nathaniel Barfield; and her sons, William Roger Barfield and Lee Edward Barfield.
She is survived by: her children, Cheryle Barfield Dunn of Haddock, Sandra Barfield Norwood (Jimmy) of Sandersville and Stanley Barfield of Harrison; her grandchildren, Jimmy Norwood (Shannon), Jessica McDaniel (Jason), Jennifer Bonner (Brad), Ashley Wilds (Casey), Courtney Claxton (Josh) and Brittany Barfield; and her sisters, Alice Jernigan (Dwight) of Enigma, GA. and Mae Purvis (Huelon) of Enigma, GA.. She is also survived by nine great-grandchildren.
