William McElroy Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William McElroy of Harlem, Georgia, born in Winder, Georgia, who passed away on September 18, 2023, at the age of 55, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his father Tony Highfield; and his stepson Joshua Walton. He is survived by: his wife Belinda Shelton McElroy of Harlem; his parents, Judy Hardigree Highfield of Bishop and Larry B. McElroy (Diane) of Buckhead; his stepson Jeremiah Walton (Katie) of Lincolnton; his adoptive son Christopher Young; and his siblings, Anthony Highfield (Sarah) of Evans, Benjamin Highfield of Bogart, Lynn Glass (Perry) of Statham, Lane Childs (Frank) of Bishop and Elizabeth Tiffany (Jamey) of Monroe.
