It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Walter E. Gaskill Jr. of Harlem, Georgia, who passed away on February 25, 2024, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Dorothy Gaskill, and Walter Gaskill, Sr.; his sister Carolyn Walker; and his friend Billy Weeks. He is survived by: his wife Edna Gaskill; his sons, Edward Gaskill (Elisha) and Evan Gaskill (Tammy); his grandchildren, McKinsey Mills (Dillon Riggans), Kendall Gaskill and Ralph Franks; his great grandchildren, Karsyn Mills and Preslee Kate Mills; his aunt Vera Griffin; and his sister-in-law Elizabeth Maddox.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to St. Jude in honor of Walter's generous spirit and compassion for others.
