We are sad to announce that on April 20, 2025, at the age of 90, Ronald Wayne Nelson Sr. (Harlem, Georgia) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Jackie Nelson; his daughters, Rhonda Bloodworth and Cherrie Davis; and his grandson Thomas Bloodworth. He is survived by: his sons, Phillip Nelson (Tonya) and Ronald Nelson, Jr. (Maria); his siblings, Debbie Estep, Mike Nelson and Rick Nelson; his grandchildren, Wayne Nelson, Anna Nelson, Laura Nelson and Elizabeth Bloodworth; and his great grandchildren, Elizabeth Nelson, Emma Kate Washington, Addison Nelson, Jordan Robinson, LaNyah Robinson, Noel Robinson, Isaiah Nelson and Ajaycia Kelley.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 22nd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Bethesda Baptist Church (5793 Old Augusta Hwy, Grovetown, GA 30814). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, April 22nd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to the Building Fund at Bethesda Baptist Church, continuing Ron's legacy of love and service to the church he held so dear.
