He is survived by: his children, Renee Phillips (Clayton) and Roger Ray Gay Jr.; his stepson Kevin Blackmon; and his siblings, Pamela Colquitt, Timmy Gay and Daniel Gay. He is also survived by his 7 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 7th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Curtis Funeral Home (218 W Hall St, Thomson, GA 30824-2622). A graveside service was held on Wednesday, January 8th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the South Harlem Cemetery.
