She was predeceased by: her parents, John Smith and Hazel Smith; her former husband Eugene Phillips; and her sons, Curtis Phillips and Sandy Phillips.
She is survived by: her husband Waymon Johnson; her children, Karen Phillips (Bobby), Barry Phillips (Teena) and Ronnie (Jackie); and her grandchildren, Krissie Brown (Brian), Leslie Phillips, Chad Brown (Brandi), Erik Phillips, Aaron Phillips (Lori), C. J. Phillips and Austin Phillips (Carmen). She is also survived by 17 great-grandchildren.
