It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Louise Byrd of Harlem, Georgia, who passed away on June 2, 2022, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: the father of her children William Nevin Duckworth; and her parents, Holcombe Verdery Jr. and Emma Lloyd Verdery. She is survived by: her husband Robert T. Byrd III; her sons, Michael Duckworth and Paul Duckworth (Christa); her sisters, Emily V. Lonergan (Mickey) and Holly V. Brown (Boone); her grandson William Blake Duckworth (Alisha); and her great grandchild Emerson Blake Duckworth. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to First Baptist Church of Augusta, 3500 Walton Way Ext., Augusta GA, 30909.
