She was predeceased by: her husband Gary Silas; and her niece Teresa Newsome. She is survived by: her children, Jackie Norris (Francine), Tommy Silas, Linda Corley (John) and Wendy Snellings (Mike); her grandchildren, Weston Corley (Kayla), Travis Corley (Christy), Dalton Snellings (Allison), Jacob Norris, Samantha Whidmann (Drew), Avery Jones (Kylie) and Ashlyn Barton (Doug); her great grandchildren, Sawyer Corley, Blakely Snellings, Marshall Corley, Harrison Whidmann, Oakley Mae Jones and Waylon Jones; her nieces, Shelli Hightower and Kristie Heath; and her nephew Larry Newsome.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Margie Bennett Preschool at Harlem Methodist Church, the Susan G. Komen Foundation, or The Alzheimer's Association.
