It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John William Lanting (Harlem, Georgia), who passed away on April 21, 2021, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, John Lanting and Alice G. Dearing; and his brother Bruce Lanting. He is survived by: his wife Penny Lanting; his children, John W. Lanting, Jr. (Julie), Gary Lanting Jeff Lanting (Marian), Jerry Lanting (Kayla) and Michelle Lanting; and his stepfather Neel Dearing. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren.
