He was predeceased by: his parents, John Milton Lonergan, Sr. and Irene Jones Lonergan; and his grandson Joseph Chance Lonergan. He is survived by: his wife Emily Verdery Lonergan; his children, Tripp (Kelly Lonergan) and Kathy (Brett Arrowood); his grandchildren, Jackson Lonergan (Morgan McGahee) and Katy Arrowood; and his brother Rudy (Cindy Lonergan).
