He is survived by: his wife Linda Hensley McClellan; his children, Elton "Grady" McClellan, Jr. (Diana), Angela Bourbo (Robert) and John McClellan (Hope); and his sisters, Nancy Oliver and Elease Counts. He is also survived by six grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Building Fund of Abilene West Campus Baptist Church, 3917 Washington Road, Martinez, Georgia 30907.
