He is survived by: his children, Cathy Thurmond, Daniel Morris (Jana) and Daryl Morris; his sister Sylvia Morris Barton (George); and his grandchildren, Danny Thurmond (Candi), Dustin Thurmond (Savannah), Lacy Thurmond, Mitchell Morris, Dara Smith, Clay Morris, Bailey Morris and Dylan Morris. He is also survived by six great-grandchildren; and host of nieces, nephews and cousins.
