She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Ronnie Wheeless; her brother Bennie Hobart Perdue; her grandson Chase Wheeless; her siblings-in-law, Totsy McDaniel, Jerry Pearson and Gene Wheeless; her parents, Rev. Zack Lee (Z. L.) and Doris Wilson Perdue; her sons, Tyler and Trevon Wheeless (Cynthia); her great grandchildren, AJ Hubert and Baby Wheeless; her sisters-in-law, Marlene Pearson and Ann Wheeless; and her friend Eva Jean Mack.

A funeral service was held on Friday, November 15th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Silver Run Baptist Church (5406 US-221, Harlem, GA 30814). Visitation was held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Fletcher-Day Funeral Home. A graveside service was held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Antioch United Methodist Church Cemetery.
