In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy Betty leaves behind and her impact on the lives of her loved ones. Though Betty may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the memories held dear by her family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert McCord and Clara McCord; and her husband Hansel. She is survived by: her children, Eleanor Barnett (Bobby), Jeanne Fowler (Terry), Suzanne Schroeder (Charlie) and David Barnett (Debbie). She is also survived by fourteen grandchildren and nineteen great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Hapeville Methodist Church (3510 Atlanta Ave, Hapeville, GA 30354). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers a donation to one of the organizations dear to Betty's heart would be fine.
