He was predeceased by: his parents, Alvin I. Holmes and Helen Fowler Holmes. He is survived by: his wife Brenda "Gail" Holmes; his grandson Ethan Sanders; and his siblings, Arch Holmes (Cherie) and Sandra Mote. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
