He was predeceased by: his parents, Marvin Waits and Mae Waits; his former wife Frances Jacqueline Sisk Waits; and his sister Delores Moreland. He is survived by: his wife Joan Waits of Hampton; his sons, Randy Waits (Joyce) of Sharpsburg, Rick Waits (Annie) of Tuscon, AZ, Ronnie Waits (Jenny) of Acworth and Robbie Waits (Sherrie) of Brooks; his stepsons, Barry Watkins (Carole) of Grantville and Alan Watkins of Helen; and his brother Fred Waits of Stockbridge. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren.
