She was predeceased by: her parents, Hugo Echevarria and Virginia Perez Echevarria; and her grandmother Balbina Perez. She is survived by: her husband Juan Santiago; her children, Brian Santiago (Pamela) and Belinda Chapell; her grandchildren, Avery Santiago and Lauren Chapell; her brothers, Victor H. Echevarria (Sara), Adolph Echevarria and Rene Perez; her niece Danielle Rivera; and her friends, LaDonna Benton, Ilena Rogers and Rita Jarboe. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
