He was predeceased by: his mother Helen Hamlin Edmonds (Elmer). He is survived by: his wife Lisa Reeves Spivey; his son Michael Spivey, Jr. (Vera); his grandchildren, Haley Franklin (Silas), Taylor Spivey, Harley Thacker and Kaylee Thacker; his great grandchild Cooper Taffar; his father Samuel Spivey (Dorothy); and his siblings, Donna Schauer (Reinhart) and Sam Spivey (Rebecca). He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and extended family.
