He is survived by: his wife Emilie; his children, Mervin Thiessen, Jr. (Diane) of New Smyrna Beach, FL, David Thiessen (Sue) of Dacula, Susie Haney (Donald) of Blairsville and Jeff Thiessen (Julie) of McDonough; his sister Tonya Bach of Tucson, AZ; his grandchildren, Jeremy, Jason, Julie, Christopher, Preston, Joey, Justin, Jacob, Amanda and Brett; and his great grandchildren, Madison, Emory, Abby, Addison, Georgia, Edie, Scarlet, Caroline, Hazel and Mason. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and extended family.
