It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Larry L. Shelton of Hampton, Georgia, born in Atlanta, Georgia, who passed away on April 17, 2022, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Andrew Leondias Shelton and Clessie Allene Harmon Shelton; his former wife Rosie Lee Flynn Shelton; his son Larry Russell Shelton (L. R. The Great); and his brother Billy Shelton.
He is survived by: his children, Darlene Bunn, April Timbs (Ron), Angie Walker and Mark Shelton; his grandchildren, Christy, Lee, Mindy, Matthew, Michael, Little Mark, Peyton, Devon, Cameron and Carisma; his great grandchildren, Ashton, Avery, Kaleb, Harper, Sage and Anna-Marie; and his siblings, Patsy Skipper, Gail Black, Elaine Sanders and Jeff Shelton (Deborah). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
