She is survived by: her husband Melvin Spencer Welch; her children, Carol Welch of Hampton, Melvin Welch of Florida and Kenny Welch of Columbus; her grandchildren, Mike Dozier (Diane), Allison Oliver (Kevin), Dustin Welch, Brandon Welch (Andi) and Matthew Welch (Marion); her siblings, Mary Ellen Ambrose and Tommy Yates; and her pet Dixie. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
