It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joann Queen Nichols of Hampton, Georgia, born in Atlanta, Georgia, who passed away on October 31, 2022, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Nichols and Lucille Murphy Nichols; her husband Richard Grady Nichols; and her son Mike Nichols. She is survived by: her children, Richard Nichols, Cynthia Nichols Vititoe, Steve Nichols, Eddie Nichols, Frederick Nichols, Jeanie and Jimmy Garrett; and her daughter-in-law Donna Nichols. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren; 34 great grandchildren; 6 great-great grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
