With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jessie Bennett Pruitt of Hampton, Georgia, born in Atlanta, Georgia, who passed away on September 2, 2023 at the age of 76. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Jessie Clyde Pruitt and Mary Elizabeth Smith Pruitt; and his pets, Jake and Rascal. He is survived by: his wife Mary Ellen Jones Pruitt; his children, Anthony Pruitt (Amber), Jana Beasley (David) and Kristin Reagan (Robert); his granddaughter Tiffany Pruitt; his great grandchildren, Roxas and Luna; and his brothers, Ray Pruitt (Susanne), Gene Pruitt and Greg Pruitt (Janice). He is also survived by several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
