He was predeceased by: his father Benjamin C. Giles; his stepfather Clay Saunders; his grandparents, Raymond, Marie Wiley, Carlton and Bennie Giles; and his uncle Ray Wiley.
He is survived by: his wife Clara McDowell Giles; his daughter Amanda Giles; his grandchildren, Anna Lyutov, Jacob Brennen, Jeremiah Brennen, Hunter Brennen and Abigail Giles; his mother Cheryl Wiley Saunders; his brother Benjamin C. Giles, Jr.; and his aunts and uncles, Carol, Dan Ogletree, Danny Wiley, Robert and Colleen Giles. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews; a host of cousins.
