It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gary Wayne Witherington of Hampton, Georgia, who passed away on December 31, 2020, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, James W. Witherington and Mary Ellen Reynolds Witherington. He is survived by: his wife Jan Witherington of Hampton; his children, Jeremy Witherington (Kelsey), Jonathan Murray (Dusty) and Jennifer Odell (Matt); his siblings, James Warren Witherington, Jr. (Martha), John Monroe Witherington, Sr. (JoAnn) and Jan Moore (Larry); and his grandson Cruize Murray. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
