She was predeceased by: her parents, Alfred Porter Parks, Sr. and Ila Orr Parks; her husband Louie Royston Heard; and her son Kenneth Lee Heard. She is survived by: her children, Carol Young of Carrollton and Gregory Heard of Hampton; and her siblings, Genevieve Fletcher, Gertie Bell, Sally Thomas, Betty Ewer, Virgil and John Parks. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren, two great, great grandchildren.
