It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carole Griffin Garbutt of Hampton, Georgia, born in Atlanta, Georgia, who passed away on January 14, 2024, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, William Bryant Griffin and Evelyne Bowden Griffin; and her sister Nancy Griffin Gibson. She is survived by: her spouse Thomas Wright Garbutt III; and her grandchildren, Larry, Alan Garbutt (Debbie) and Norma Bradshaw (Steve). She is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews; and several extended family.

The family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the missions program of Bible Baptist Church.
