Byron Hand Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Byron Hand of Hampton, Georgia, who passed away on October 1, 2022, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He is survived by: his significant other Peggy Cox; his sons, Darryl Hand (Pat Sebo) of Jonesboro, Owen T. Hand (Celeste) of Newnan and Wade Hand (Kelly) of Hampton; his stepchildren, D. J. Ray of Griffin, David Dumas (Renee) of Peachtree City and Brenda Lucas (Ronnie) of Hollonville; his siblings, Roy Hand (Barbara) of Fayetteville, Louise Fowler of Fayetteville and Martha Stancil of Morrow; and his sister-in-law Kathleen Hand of Alpharetta. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews and extended family.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to Eternal Hope Hospice, 123 N. 18th Street, Griffin, GA 30223, in Memory of Byron "Butch" Hand.
