It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Billy Ray Hancock Sr. of Hampton, Georgia, who passed away on August 4, 2023, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, E. W. Hancock and Mary Jane Hancock; his wife Nancy Hancock; his grandchild Lauren Ashley; and his siblings, Jim Hancock, Frank Hancock, Tom Hancock, Junior Hancock, Cecile Thomas, Marie Smith, Alvin Hancock and Judy Tolley.

He is survived by: his sisters, Sue Walker and Bobbie Owen; his daughter Tina Rawlins; his son-in-law Darrell; his granddaughters, Amber and Emma; his daughter Michelle Sass; his son-in-law Brad; his grandchildren, Madison and Mary; his son Billy Ray Hancock, Jr.; his daughter-in-law Danielle; his grandchildren, Emory, Ella and Haley; and his girlfriend Betty Behm. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, grand-nieces, and grand-nephews.
