He was predeceased by: his former wife Juanita Ward. He is survived by: his daughters, Deborah Miller (Johnny), Lila Mercer (Clarence), Laura Applewhite (Ed), Tina Roberts (Mike) and Charlene Messer; and also Faye Ward. He is also survived by nine grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
