It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bennie Lee Scott of Hampton, Georgia, who passed away on March 1, 2024, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Bennie Lee Scott to pay them a last tribute.

He is survived by: his wife Betty Ann Scott; his sons, Derrick Scott, Tony Connell (Jacqueline) and Steve Connell; his granddaughters, April Scott, Stephanie Rollins, Jarkeshia Connell, Raven Connell, Shitera Bowden and Allyse Scott; his siblings, Louise Smith, Lizzie Lou Ellis (AC) and Lee Moore; and his extended family, Willie Cornell (Teresa JoAnn), Miriam Chapman and Kristie Hammock. He is also survived by great-grandchildren, other loving relatives and friends.
