She was predeceased by: her husband Hampton Sterlyn Denney; and her parents, Thelma Brooks and Cecil Brooks. She is survived by: her daughters, Lisa Dempster (Hazen) of Atlanta, Sharon Lobel (Robert) of Albany, NY and Shan Willoughby (Chris) of Chamblee, GA; her granddaughter Sarah Dempster of Atlanta; her daughters, Katie Valdés (Nic) of Charlotte, NC and Amy Dempster of Atlanta; her sister-in-law Sandra Clements (Jerry) of Tucker, GA; her niece Pamela Harrison (Bob) of Marietta, GA; and her nephew Michael Humphrey (Veronica) of Cleveland, GA.
