It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Theora Rogers in Hamilton, Georgia, born in Geraldine, Alabama, who passed away on April 2, 2022, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Terry Bowling and Ola "Minnie" Bowling; her husband John L. Rogers; and her son-in-law Bruce M. DeVay. She is survived by: her children, Jimmie Rogers (Pat) and Judy DeVay (Ray Styles); her grandchildren, Angie Stephenson (Mike), Lewis DeBoard (Laurie), Jimmie Rogers, Jr., Joel Rogers (Sharon McBride), Dede Stephens (James) and Damon DeVay; and her siblings, Fay Thurmond, Lorene Shaw, Bea Shaw (Freddy) and James Isaac Bowling (Linda). She is also survived by eight great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren.
