Patsy Leary Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Patsy Leary of Hamilton, Georgia, born in Columbus, Georgia, who passed away on September 23, 2024, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Woodrow Wilson and Anne Dugas Lane; her brother Richard Lane; her brothers-in-law, Robert Henry and Evan Leary; her niece Courtney Lane Farmer; and her nephew Greg Henry.

She is survived by: her husband Ralph Glenn Leary, Sr.; her sons, Ralph G. Leary, Jr. (Leslie) and Richard W. Leary (Beth); her grandchildren, Ralph G. Leary III, Rachel Leary, Anna Leary Voltz (Bo), Abby Leary and Alex Leary; her sister-in-law Betty Leary Henry; her nieces and nephews, Lisa Lane White (Sonny), Jill H. Struthers (Craig), Dwight Leary (Deana), Hal Leary (Jennifer), Keith Leary (Becky), Brett Leary (Mary), Ross Leary (Tracy) and Kevin Henry (Jill); and her caregivers, Viola Parham, Mary Jo Snead and Tony Miller of Hospice Care. She is also survived by numerous cousins, great nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 25th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Evangel Church (5350 Veterans Pkwy, Columbus, GA 31904). A memorial service was held on Wednesday, September 25th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the same location.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Teen Challenge, Evangel Church Missionary Fund, or the Piedmont Columbus Regional Foundation to support Breast Care.
