He is survived by: his wife Mildred DeLoach Whitehead; his children, Tammi Whitehead, Dewayne Copeland (Tammy) and Spence Whitehead; his grandchildren, Jamal Copeland, Brittany Copeland, LaShandria Copeland and Terijha Whitehead (Rye); his great grandchildren, Alaeja Copeland, Kaylee Copeland and Casshe Copeland; his siblings, Maryese Gay, Lester Whitehead (Shirley) and Ira Whitehead (Charlie Mae); and his siblings-in-law, Minnie Hyter, Bonnett Bowman (Calvin), Willie James DeLoach (Dorothy) and Jesse Deloach. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
