He was predeceased by: his parents, Mark Brown and Elsie Brown; his brother-in-law Robert "Bob" Hempy; and his parents-in-law, Frank and Ruth Crider.
He is survived by: his wife Frankie Crider Brown; his daughters, Sheri McVay (Jamie) and Christy Jones (Bill); his grandchildren, Bo Jones (Catie), Mark McVay, Ben Jones and Kate McVay; his great grandchild Rhett Jones; his sister Barbara Hempy; and his nieces and nephews, Beverly, Brad, Byron and Brett.
Visitation was held on Monday, February 10th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Evangel Church (5350 Veterans Pkwy, Columbus, GA 31904). A funeral service was held on Monday, February 10th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, charitable donations can be made to MD Anderson Cancer Center, Evangel Church, or Serenity Foundation.
